GirlChatSports is about learning, sharing, and showing up without pressure. You don’t need to know every stat or follow every team to be part of the conversation. Just bring your interest, your voice, and your perspective.

A BIT ABOUT MO & MEL
Monecia AKA “Mo”
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Mo has been a dedicated fan of the Lakers, Dodgers, and Raiders for as long as she can remember. Watching the Raiders return to Las Vegas, alongside the rise of teams like the Aces and Golden Knights, has brought her full circle as a lifelong sports fan.
She has witnessed her hometown evolve into a true sports destination, drawing fans from across the country and around the world.
Outside of sports, Mo has a strong eye for style. As a former stylist and self-proclaimed fashion lover, she enjoys discovering new spots around the city for great food, drinks, and music.
Melissa AKA “Mel”
Raised in Seattle, Mel moved to Las Vegas after attending the University of Washington in search of sunshine and new opportunities. What started as a move for better weather quickly turned into a place she now calls home.
She has watched the city grow into a sports destination with the arrival of the NHL, WNBA, and NFL. While she still supports her Seattle roots with the Seahawks, Huskies, and Mariners, she also cheers on the Aces and Golden Knights as her home teams.
By day, Mel works in human services, driven by a passion for helping others. In her downtime, she balances that work with her love of sports and time spent relaxing poolside.
